It’s time to Pop Up and Paint Out at First Friday Santa Cruz!
Twenty professional artists will be out from sunrise to create a piece or two of what they do best: plein air. They set up easels on Pacific Avenue, along the Riverwalk, at San Lorenzo Park, anywhere in the city of Santa Cruz, and paint right on the spot.
From 4-8 pm, enjoy and purchase their best works of the day during the summer’s evening exhibition and sale downtown at Plaza Lane,  Take home a small format painting in oil, acrylic, watercolor, or pastel. Or just vote for Peoples Choice!
Awards
People’s Choice and Artists’ Choice prize winners will be selected from works created at the event.
Sponsors will award up to $2,000 in purchase prizes, cash, and/or merchandise.
